A Power BI training can be of benefit for a wide range of profiles. It is particularly helpful for individuals who are wishing to enter the professions of a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Software Developer.

It is a valuable supplementary competence for statisticians and professional analysts wishing to exploit their skills to derive insights from data. Professionals in marketing, finance, sales or other fields will also benefit from mastering Power BI.

In order to integrate the "dashboard creation" course, we advise you to bring prior knowledge in Microsoft Excel. To integrate the "deepening of the tool" course, the candidate must also master the basic concepts of Power BI (architecture, integration and transformations with Power Query, DAX measures, creation of dashboards, etc.) All learners must have a computer with a webcam and an internet connection.

The introduction training lasts a total of three days. The advanced training takes place over a total of two days. The PL-300 certification can be obtained after completing both courses in combination over a total of five days. The schedule for the training days is from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with one hour for lunch, i.e. 7 hours of training per day.

Yes, the hybrid format of our certification traning offers you the perfect mix of 50% hands-on practice and 50% live video conferences. The practical part of the training allows you to apply the newly learned competencies from the video conferences. At the same time you stay in contact with your trainers who remain available to answer your questions.

After your training at DataScientest, you'll receive a voucher enabling you to register for the official exam. The exams are taken remotely via Pearson VUE, the Microsoft partner responsible for these assessments.

Pearson VUE requires to control your computer and your webcam to ensure the best possible exam conditions. For the duration of the test (3 hours for PL-300), candidates are subject to strict rules: they must not talk, cover their face, write on their keyboard or take notes.

The test is a multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ) in which you cannot go back to prior questions. It treats theoretical questions on Business Intelligence in general and on concrete cases (best practices on the software, formulas to use for a given situation).

By the end of the PL-300 training course, you'll be able to perform data transformations, create data models and develop indicators using the DAX language. You'll also be able to select relevant graphs and quality dashboards for data visualization. Finally, you'll be able to share your data visualizations securely via interactive reports.
