How can you finance your training course?

The DevOps Engineer has the dual role of being a developer and a system administrator. They work with developers and IT staff to oversee different versions of code, combining an understanding of engineering and coding. From creating and implementing new software to analyzing data to improve existing software, the DevOps Engineer aims to increase the productivity of his or her company. They deal with the software development lifecycle and are familiar with the various automation tools used to develop digital pipelines.

We are looking for profiles with professional or academic backgrounds in IT, sciences, and/or mathematics. To get a good grip on the content of our course, it is necessary to have a basic understanding of computer science and statistics. After your first consultation with our advisor team, we will send you an online placement test to assess your existing knowledge. After passing this test, you are able to start your DevOps adventure with us!

Our career managers will be by your side throughout the course to help you reintegrate into the job market and your new field of profession. During your training, you will have the opportunity to make an individual appointment with the career team to address your questions about future career plans.

In addition, career workshops are organized every month to give our participants the best tips on how to achieve success in the job market. In these workshops, our team will give you advice on how to design a professional CV and LinkedIn profile. Additionally, they will support you in your job search and interview processes.

A DevOps Engineer can expect a range of salary increases throughout their career based on their experience and certification levels:

  • Junior: 40,000 - 60,000 €
  • Senior: 70,000 - 80,000 €

It can be said that the salary range of the DevOps Engineer is daily wide, as remuneration depends above all on the number of years of experience in the profession, as well as the connected proof of certification to their skill-set. According to an Opsramp study, about 64% of IT companies believe that DevOps skills are currently the most sought-after, even ahead of skills in cybersecurity, cloud management and data science. As a result, these companies are increasingly looking for DevOps profiles, which are short in supply and therefore create upward pressure on salary ranges in the long term.
